- Last week, the Metropolitan Museum of
Art opened the first phase of Big
Bambu: You Can’t, You Don’t, and You Won’t Stop, an art project made of 5,000 bamboo poles lashed
together with 50 miles of nylon rope. Said the
project’s creators, Mike and Doug Starn, “[it's] been our work
since the beginning, since the ’80s, it’s always
been about how nothing stays the same and everything’s always changing
and growing, and everything’s inter-connected and inter-dependent. The
only thing that’s consistent is change itself.” See

Bambu, click
